Laude-Reut School offers a dynamic, bilingual educational experience combining Romanian and English curricula. How Applications Are Processed
Friendship Program applications are received in the spring by Mat Messerschmidt. Mat relays the strongest candidate to Laude-Reut leadership in Romania for final negotiations.
Pre-Arrival and Onboarding Process
The school assists with legal permissions over the summer and guides the teacher upon arrival in Romania. Onboarding occurs in September before classes begin.
Work Schedule at Laude-Reut
Teachers work Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, with time reserved for lesson preparation within the 40-hour workweek.

Laude-Reut seeks passionate and flexible teachers who may teach multiple age groups based on school needs
Chaperone and Travel Opportunities
Teachers have chaperoned trips such as the March of the Living in Poland, visits to Frankfurt’s Jewish ghetto, and excursions to Romania’s Carpathian Mountains.
